Kanye West and Rick Fox plans to assist the Bahamian Government

About five weeks after the monstrous Category 5 Hurricane Dorian ravaged Grand Bahama and the Abacos, more help is being extended to assist the Bahamian Government. On October 3rd, Rick Fox and Kanye West visited the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA). As per a statement issued by the Bahamas Information Services, discussions were held about developing a plan for Fox and West to assist the Bahamian reconstruction committee.

“Foundation formed to create hope for Bahamians”, Rick Fox indicated in a tweet on September 28th, 2019 as he highlighted bahamasrelieffoundation.org. Although Fox was born in Toronto, he lived in The Bahamas before moving to the United States. His father is of Bahamian descent. Fox has been instrumental in collecting funds for Hurricane Dorian relief efforts.
