JOE ROGAN: Tests Positive for COVID-19, Takes Horse Dewormer

Written by on September 2, 2021

Joe Rogan is embroiled in controversy again.

The podcaster has tested positive for COVID-19 and says he’s taken ivermectin, a dewormer meant for horses that the CDC says is “not authorized or approved by FDA for prevention or treatment of COVID-19.”

Joe, who’s expressed doubts about vaccines on his Spotify podcast, wrote on Instagram Wednesday that he tested positive on Sunday. “So we threw the kitchen sink at it, all kinds of meds,” Rogan said, adding that he took a Z-Pac, prednisolone and ivermectin.

The New York Times has reported that ivermectin has “repeatedly failed in clinical trials to help people infected with the coronavirus.”

In his video, Rogan said, “Here we are on Wednesday, and I feel great. I really only had one bad day. Today I feel good, I actually feel pretty [damn] good.”

Rogan did not mention if he had been vaccinated.
