Jada Pinkett Smith’s Rep Denies August Alsina’s Claim

In an exclusive interview with August Alsina and The Breakfast Club’s very own Angela Yee, the singer opened up about many things including his relationship with “Red Table Talk” host and actress, Jada Pinkett Smith. Somewhere in the conversation, Alsina shared that he received Will Smith’s “blessing” to engage in a relationship with Mrs. Smith. He claims, “I actually sat down with Will [Smith] and had a conversation due to the transformation from their marriage to life partnership … he gave me his blessing.” However, reps for Pinkett spoke with Page Six and said Alsina’s claims are “absolutely not true.” Alsina explained that Jada’s son, Jaden Smith, introduced them back in 2015. The following year, he joined the Smith family on vacation in Hawaii. Alsina and Pinkett Smith, 48, also attended the 2017 BET Awards together. While speaking with Yee, Alsina explained, “I totally gave myself to that relationship for years of my life, and I truly and really, really deeply love and have a ton of love for her,” he told Yee, 44, in Tuesday’s interview. “I devoted myself to it, I gave my full self to it — so much so to the point that I can die right now and be OK with knowing that I truly gave myself to somebody.” While Jada’s rep has shut down those “affair” claims, social media users were quick to react to the update:
