She left him early this year, but he cannot let it go. Zayn remains smitten.

One of her friends told Us Weekly (quote) “Gigi still has feelings for him, but he has major issues. She knows they aren’t compatible. She’s still very single.”

Those major issues are rumored to be substance abuse.
