Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump have tested positive for COVID-19. Trump shared the news over Twitter early Friday morning.
Trump wrote, “We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!”
The news came just hours after the White House revealed that Hope Hicks, a senior aide who have traveled with the president multiple times this week, had tested positive.
Since Trump is 74-years-old, he’s at higher risk of suffering more serious complications from the virus. (The Washington Post)
