BEYONCE: Changing Lyrics on New Song

Beyonce is switching up one of the lyrics on her new album following criticism.

Some took issue with Queen Bey’s use of an ableist slur on her song “Heated.”  Her team says, “The word, not used intentionally in a harmful way, will be replaced.”

This comes weeks after Lizzo found herself at the center of a similar controversy, and also decided to alter her lyrics. (Variety)
