R. KELLY: Prosecutors Demand 25-Years

At the end of this month, R. Kelly returns to court to learn his fate. Back in September, a New York jury convicted him on nine counts of racketeering and sex trafficking.

The federal prosecutors issued their recommendation to the judge on Wednesday. They demanded locking R. Kelly behind bars “in excess of 25 years.”

The feds defended this harsh punishment. R. Kelly has failed to show any remorse. He has a long history of grooming underage girls, secretly recording his sex acts and infecting his sex partners with herpes. Prosecutors reminded the judge how R. Kelly “continued these heinous acts” even after his 2008 trial where he was acquitted. (Billboard)
