Kanye West Directs Lawyers To Expedite Dissolution Of His Marriage

For the last few weeks, we’ve seen Kanye West and Kim Kardashian-West’s divorce play out online. There have been court filings with the reality star requesting to be declared single with reports claiming Kanye’s been objecting to it. Earlier today, TMZ even reported that their upcoming court appearance on Wednesday will be a “showdown.” However, despite how intense things may seem, direct sources to the self-made billionaire say it won’t be that at all!

In fact, YE, who shares four children with Kim: daughter North, 8, son Saint, 6, daughter Chicago, 4, and son Psalm, 2½ — released a statement to us sharing his plans for tomorrow. Kanye said: “I’ve asked my team to expedite the dissolution of my marriage to Kim so I can put my entire attention into our beautiful children” — YE.

The change of tune comes just days after Kim, 41, filed new court docs claiming that his Instagram posts where he detailed some of their marriage problems, were hurting her emotionally, and all she wants is to move on and co-parent in a healthy manner. Although Kanye reportedly filed legal docs hitting back at her claims and insisted that he’s not going to end his marriage without a fight, it appears that he’s ultimately taking the high road for the sake of their children.
