North Carolina’s state lottery had 2000 winners on Saturday night after the numbers in the Pick 4 game came back “0-0-0-0.”
A $7.8 million jackpot was up for grabs when the seemingly-impossible number combination was drawn. One thousand winning tickets that were purchased at $1 will pay out $5000, while another thousand tickets sold at 50-cents will pay out $2,500. State lottery officials asked winners to be patient and expect “extended waiting times” in collecting their prizes. (NBC News)
