KIM KARDASHIAN: Helps Free Another Inmate

Written by on May 6, 2019

Kim Kardashian has scored another victory in her crusade for prison reform.

The mogul and her legal team helped free a man serving a life sentence for a low-level drug offense. Kim made the announcement on Twitter, saying Jeffrey Stringer will soon be home. “He served too much time but it gives me so much joy to fund this life saving work.”

According to TMZ, Stringer, who’s been behind bars for 22 years, was “convicted for drug possession when he was 25, but because he had two drug priors, he got life under the federal three-strikes law.”

Kim, who’s studying to be a lawyer, had played roles in the recent releases of Cyntoia Brown, Alice Marie Johnson and Matthew Charles.
