A judge gave Kesha a significant victory in her legal battles against music producer Dr. Luke. For seven years, they have fought one another over allegations of rape, which he called slanderous. When their case goes to trial, the judge said Kesha may compel Dr. Luke to “prove by clear and convincing evidence” that she behaved with malice. (Billboard)

In the case of a court victory, Kesha may also demand punitive damages and compensation for her court fees. Taylor Swift is rumored to pay Kesha’s legal bills so far. Kesha would have gone bankrupt by now without Taylor’s financial assistance. (Crazy Days and Nights)
