Beyonce now has more Grammy trophies than every entertainer except for a dead symphony conductor named George Solti and producer/musician Quincy Jones. Her wins last night propelled her past another dead conductor, Pierre Boulez, and bluegrass musician Allison Krauss on the all-time win ranking.

Last year, Kanye West tossed one of his Grammys in the toilet and urinated on it. That did not dissuade the Recording Academy from giving Kanye another trophy in a Christian Music category.

The awards ceremony producer did not name Ariana Grande when recounting a conversation with a singer who declined to perform. Zara Larsson fired her creative director Ryder Ripps. He body-shamed Zara, mocking her weight and size of arms, in a series of texts with his fiancée, Azealia Banks. Those texts were leaked to social media by Banks, who betrayed two people in one fell swoop. (NME)
