Billie Eilish is the latest artist to admit she’s needed to take a social media hiatus. During a BBC interview, she said the bullying comments by trolls have weighed heavily on her soul (quote) “As you get to do cooler things, the more people hate you. I stopped reading comments fully. It was ruining my life.”
As the coronavirus spreads without a cure, Simon Cowell will take extraordinary precautions during a family vacation. The America’s Got Talent judge said (quote) “I am terrified by coronavirus. We will 100 percent wear masks visiting Disneyland Paris, especially my 6-year-old son. And we’ll have loads of hand sanitizer.” (New York Post)

Boston does not intend to follow in the running footsteps of Tokyo, which cancelled the 26-mile marathon race due to the coronavirus. Only a couple hundred elite runners are allowed to compete. Boston Mayor Martin Walsh said about their race on April 20 (quote) “We have to be very careful in overreacting to a situation that isn’t there. In Boston, coronavirus shouldn’t affect our marathon.” (Boston Herald)
Demi Lovato has an idea of pop stars joining together for a summit. She imagines a camping retreat where celebs “figure out a universal message” to express. Demi said in the Pretty Big Deal podcast (quote) “I’ve talked about it with Sam Smith. We get all of the influential singers and go camping. I think it would be empowering to figure out, as the generation leading people through music, how are we going to make a difference.”
