Michelle Obama Blasts Donald & Melania Trump For Blocking Joe & Jill Biden’s Transition:

While recalling putting her “anger aside” for the transition of power to Donald & Melania Trump, Michelle Obama now blasts them for blocking Joe & Jill Biden‘s transition into the White House, adding, “This isn’t a game.” While taking to Instagram in a lengthy post, the former FLOTUS called out President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump for refusing to cooperate “maturely” and welcome Joe Biden and Jill Biden into the White House and presidency. Additionally, she talks about putting her feelings aside to welcome Donald and Melania in 2016, despite Trump spreading “racists lies about [Barack] that had [his] family in danger.” Obama says, “That wasn’t something I was ready to forgive. But I knew that, for the sake of our country, I had to find the strength and maturity to put my anger aside.” She says she also instructed her and Barack’s staff to do what “George and Laura Bush had done for us: run a respectful, seamless transition of power—one of the hallmarks of American democracy.”
