Three new movies probably won’t topple Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero from atop the box office chart.

If there’s to be a new champion, odds are the horror flick The Invitation could be it. This eerie thriller features long-lost cousins reuniting in the English countryside for sinister reasons. The Invitation premieres at 3000 locations with likely revenue approaching just $7 million.

Two other arrivals will be lucky to bank $3 million in their weekend debut. Idris Elba and Tilda Swinton star in a fantasy film, Three Thousand Years of Longing.

Also, John Boyega leads the heist drama Breaking based on the real-life story of a desperate Marine Corps veteran on the brink of homelessness. (Variety)
