This Christmas weekend, six new releases will attempt to dethrone Spider-Man: Now Way Home at the box office. However, the Marvel movie stands to make in its second weekend about $150 million.

Arriving (Wednesday) are two sequels and a prequel. The Matrix: Resurrections is expected to earn $60 million through Sunday. Sing 2 with a voice cast that includes Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, and Scarlett Johansson ought to make $50 million. Also, The King’s Man is a prequel to The Kingsman: Secret Service. Ticket sales could reach $20 million.

Debuting on Christmas Day are two emotional dramas. A Journal for Jordan, directed by the Denzel Washington, will struggle to make $10 million. The same goes for the inspirational sport bio-pic, American Underdog: The Kurt Warner Story.

Finally, the coming of age movie, Licorice Pizza, expands nationwide to 700 theaters this Christmas weekend. (Deadline)
