Three new movies arrive this weekend, but the Venom sequel will easily win at the box office.

Previews for Venom: Let There Be Carnage begin tonight on its way toward a debut around $60 million. This second Venom was made “In Association With Marvel,” according to the opening credits. A warning to parents: Venom 2 is rated PG-13 despite several F-bombs.

Addams Family 2 is released simultaneously at 4200 theaters and streaming for $20. The online component is expected to depress debut weekend revenue, which might reach $15 million.

Streaming this weekend at HBO Max is The Sopranos prequel, The Many Saints of Newark. It will also play on 3200 big screens where ticket sales may struggle to make $10 million. (Deadline)
