Two new movies arrive this weekend. The animated sequel, Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway. It stars the voice of late night talk show host James Corden along with Margot Robbie. Box office returns could be around $10 million.

Also, the movie adaptation of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Broadway musical, In The Heights. In its debut weekend, Heights is predicted to earn as much as $25 million. (Box Office Mojo)

Forecasters believe In The Heights has the opportunity to become a breakout hit like The Greatest Showman and La La Land. Movie musicals rely on word-of-mouth. Currently, at Rotten Tomatoes, In The Heights has a near-perfect score of 97 percent. (The Wrap)
