Wheely Bad Judgment

A Florida man asked a cop for help in starting a scooter — which he was trying to steal from the rightful owner.

Raymond Millwater asked an officer for a screwdriver after he was spotted pushing the two-wheeler through the streets in the pre-dawn hours last Wednesday. The cop didn’t offer the tool, and decided to run the scooter’s license plate. The actual owner didn’t know Millwater.

According to jail records, the 30-year-old has at least four other grand theft charges on his record, along with a slew of drug and weapons charges. (Tampa Bay Times)
